Audit: Nearly $100K stolen from Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles by employees

Three state employees took $98,507 from the Office of Motor Vehicles for personal use between March and June 2017, according to an audit released by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor this morning. The audit says the employees were fired from the OMV and arrested last year for the theft of the OMV’s petty cash, deposits and license reinstatement
