Flambée Café, the newest restaurant concept by the owners of Bistro Byronz, is opening today at 8210 Village Plaza Court in the Village at Willow Grove, the commercial segment of developer Richard Carmouche’s planned unit development on Perkins Road.
The French-inspired restaurant serves up tarte flambee offerings, a selection of warm and cold Tartines, fire-roasted Pots de Feu, salads and dessert Flambées.
Today’s opening follows a series of soft openings held over the past two weeks for investors, family, employees and friends of the restaurants. This past Sunday an event was also held exclusively for the Willow Grove neighborhood.
“We had great feedback on the menu, the selection, the food and the ambiance,” says CEO Emelie Kantrow Alton. “We would certainly expect that if things would go well here that we would love opening additional locations in the city or outside of the city.”
Byronz Restaurant Family LLC announced the new concept in March. Willow Grove is home to one of two Bistro Byronz locations in Baton Rouge, the other being in Mid City. There are also locations in Shreveport and Mandeville.
