Bengal Industries has purchased its recently constructed, 6,100-square-foot headquarters building at 16260 Airline Highway in Prairieville for $2.1 million.
The building is located just east of Interstate 10 and is located on a 5-acre plot. According to Mathew Laborde with Beau Box Commercial Real Estate, which represented Bengal in the deal, the building will serve as the corporate headquarters for the company’s four divisions: crane, logistics, transportation and special projects.
The new corporate office will support operational teams located in other offices located in Geismar and Alexandria. The company also is planning to expand into the Houston area in the future.
Under a limited liability company called Shadetree Realty, Bengal bought the building from InfiniEdge Software of Prairieville. Bengal had the two-story building designed by GraceHebert Architects of Baton Rouge.
