LaPorte Sehrt Romig Hand CPAs, a 65-year-old Metairie accounting firm with offices in Baton Rouge and Covington, is changing its name and logo. The firm will now be called LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors. William “Ted” Mason, LaPorte CEO, says the company wanted to update its image and affirm its evolution as a growing business. “Many of our clients already refer to us as ‘LaPorte’; we decided to recognize the unity and simplicity of that identity,” Mason says.
