Americans maintain an increasingly negative view on the economy

Americans’ already poor views on the U.S. economy have gotten worse in September, a new Gallup poll finds.  The monthly update reports that only 20% of adults find economic conditions “excellent” or “good,” while 32% call them “only fair.” This is compared to the 48% that find them “poor.” The overall positive rating is down
