Amedisys has signed a purchase agreement to buy three home health agencies and one hospice company from an Arkansas firm. Details of the deal with White River Health System of Batesville were not disclosed. The four agencies posted annual revenue of $2.9 million for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2008.
