Amedisys has purchased two Yuma, Ariz., home health agencies for an undisclosed amount. Arizona Home Rehabilitation and Yuma Home Care posted about $4.8 million in revenues during the first nine months of 2008. This is Baton Rouge-based Amedisys’ first move into the Yuma market. The deal comes a week after the company announced plans to buy four Arkansas home health and hospice agencies.
