Baton Rouge-based Amedisys has signed an agreement to acquire Texas-based Evolution Health, a division of Evolution Healthcare, Amedisys announced today. Under terms of the deal, Amedisys will acquire 100% ownership in Evolution Health, allowing it to provide home health and hospice services to six communities in Texas including Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston.
