Like a wayward Santa for the Christmas obsessed, John Waters—legendary filmmaker, raconteur and author of the best-selling book Role Models—cruises into Manship Theatre at 8 p.m. Friday with his sleigh full of sticks and stones, spreading yuletide cheer and lunacy with his critically acclaimed one-man show, “A John Waters Christmas.” Torn between capitalism and anarchy, Waters feels “Christmas crazy” this year. His rapid-fire monologue explores and explodes the traditional holiday rituals and traditions as he shares his religious fanaticism for Santa Claus as well as an unhealthy love of real-life holiday horror stories. Tickets are $50. More details are available here. Read this week’s complete 225 Select newsletter here.
