Wearable art gets intimate tonight when locally owned lingerie boutique Privé and the BR Walls Project partner with area artists to host an art-fashion show and fundraiser. All funds raised by the event will benefit Woman’s Hospital’s breast cancer outreach and education programs, including the Mobile Mammography Coach, which reaches thousands of women in 18 Louisiana parishes. On show will be handcrafted, mixed-media and wearable art pieces that could include photography, sculpture, glasswork and more. Each will be auctioned off for charity. Bust Breast Cancer takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Manship Theatre downtown. Tickets are $35. You can get them and all the event details here.
