A new six-week season of the Sunday in the Park music series kicks off this Sunday with a free concert in the recently completed North Boulevard Town Square downtown. This week, contemporary-folk acoustic group Mountain Heart will entertain an all-ages crowd—and you can look forward to more big-name acts like the Soul Rebels Brass Band, Eden Brent and Jeffrey Broussard & The Creole Cowboys in the coming weeks. Bring along a picnic lunch and a blanket, and enjoy the spring weather and live music from noon to 3 p.m. More details and the complete season schedule are all available at the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge’s website here.
