Lock & Key Whiskey Bar is now giving its customers a little something extra, with a catered small plates menu.
As 225 Dine reports, the dishes are from Erick Coughlin of Truly Free Bakery. The menu features five items, including lobster ceviche with cucumber medallions, a trio of hummus and chicken salad dip. Lock & Key co-owner Arthur Lauck says the menu was added recently to give customers an extra level of comfort.
“When we originally opened, we always thought about doing something with food, but we didn’t want to rush something out,” he says. “We wanted something to match our drink menu and the feel of the bar. This adds another element to Lock & Key.”
The small plates range in price from $8 to $14.
Also highlighted in this week’s edition of 225 Dine is a partnership by local fast-healthy concept Fresh Kitchen and Our Lady of the Lake. In honor of Heart Month, the regional medical center is spotlighting some of the restaurant’s heart-healthy fare.
The meals were chosen based on criteria set by the American Heart Association and include selections in breakfast, poultry, vegetarian, seafood, and beef and bison categories.
