To mark National Doughnut Day, 225 Dine has compiled a rundown of local donut shops offering specials today.
Perhaps best known for its maple bacon donut, Tiger Deaux-Nuts at 5162 Government St. is celebrating National Doughnut Day with extended hours and will be open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. The shop is also offering prizes, such as a free dozen each month for a year, as well as free donut holes, breakfast sandwich combos, gift cards and more.
Thee Heavenly Donut, 5830 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd., is offering one free glazed donut with any purchase. Mr. Ronnie’s Famous Hot Donuts is offering a dozen donuts of any variety at a discounted price of $7.50 and a free glazed donut to everyone who walks in the door.
Krispy Kreme, 5504 Plank Road, is offering one free donut of any variety with any purchase. Dunkin’ Donut, which has several locations in Baton Rouge, is starting Free Donut Fridays, a weekly special that offers each customer an extra free donut with their purchase. And as for today, Dunkin Donut customers will get a free donut of their choice with the purchase of any beverage.
