The Baton Rouge restaurant boom doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon, and in its last edition of 2014, 225 Dine has a rundown of the most anticipated restaurant openings and expansions that are slated for 2015.
Included on the list is Barcadia, which is slated to open early next year in the former Serranos Salsa Company space on Highland Road near the LSU campus. The arcade and restaurant is to feature Curbside Burgers. Another restaurant making the list is Crispy Catch, which is under development in the Perkins Road overpass area.
“The menu includes fried fish, boudin ‘poppers’ and fish tacos,” writes 225 Dine’s Matthew Sigur. “This is sure to be the next best thing in the overpass area. With a limited menu, it looks like the owners are positioning themselves to become the next Raising Cane’s.”
