‘225’: 7th Annual Best of 225 Awards

This year’s “Best of 225” was a record-breaker. Up 19% from 2011, a grand total of 3,991 of the magazine’s readers completed its scientific survey this year to have their say in the “7th Annual Best of 225 Awards.” The process began in January, when 225 partnered with Survey Communications Inc., a market research firm, to solicit subscribers of 225 e-newsletters for their nominations in more than 50 categories. Once the nominations were tallied, finalists were identified and, drawing from a pool of tens of thousands of readers and online subscribers, SCI randomly invited some to complete the scientific survey. SCI’s methodology assures that votes cannot be rigged or stacked. The results you see are a true reflection of what 225 readers say are this year’s “Best of 225.” Some categories had seven or fewer finalists. In those cases, the top three vote getters are listed as well as the percentage of the vote each received. For categories with eight or more finalists on the ballot, the top five finishers are included. Check them all out here.
