2013 Influential Women in Business nominations open Monday

Take time between today and early next week to think about the women you know in the Capital Region who are making the greatest positive impact on our community, and then submit your nominations online beginning Monday, March 4, for the 2013 Influential Women in Business awards. Presented annually by Business Report, the awards honor women who are making Greater Baton Rouge a better place to live through their work. You’ll be able to make your nominations online here beginning at 10:30 a.m. Monday. The nominating period will remain open through 5 p.m. Friday, April 5. Nominations submitted in another format will not be considered. To be eligible for selection, nominees must be a business owner or top manager; must have a noticeable impact on the business or her industry; must have a clear vision for the future that’s been communicated to staff members; and the business, industry or organization should fit into one of the following categories: retail/wholesale, health care, finance, professional, telecommunications/technology, manufacturing/industry, transportation, communications, nonprofits, government or education.
