Anybody but Benham. Watch his contributor list. The man worked against me on a zoning issue, (and might I add for the interests of one) and after my attorney worked out a compromise with the Parish Attorney, BENHAM TOOK CREDIT FOR IT. DO NOT CARE FOR THE MAN.

Just more rules made by the self-proclaimed King of Highland Road, Ramon Robert Rackley. Please check to see how much property taxes he is paying for his priceless holdings. (See also Highland Wilderness, LLC) Bob seems to want to govern everything that goes on on "his street", one reason I moved to Zachary. I had to fight him for 5 years (with his mouthpiece, Jim Benham) just to improve my business of 30 years. I made a lot of friends in that process, my place became like "Floyd's Barber Shop" in Mayberry. A political or philisophical conversation was always going on. In my humble opinion, Rackley just wants to be the only person to DEVELOP, not "preserve" Highland Road. Too many rules. Glad not to have to deal with Bob on a day to day basis. No one ever did understand his opposition to my Carriage House Garage. Can someone make him get his illegal signage out of the right of way?

There is no more qualified or worthy candidate for this position than Doug Moreau. He is from Baton Rouge. He attended, and participated at the All American level in LSU sports. I can say from personal experience that he is one heck of a nice, honorable man. To hire someone from out of state to come in would be a slap in the face for alums such as myself and my wife.

Jim Benham would definitely be a move in reverse. Denying the voter input is an absolute outrage. The fact that the measure was approved 2 to 1 is truly proof that Benham is out of touch, or maybe more correcly, doesn't care about what his constituents think. Benham has a history of doing the wrong thing, and the voters told him so. He only won by 196 votes in 2000, and the voters handed him his hat finally in 2004. Good riddance. He should have been a REPRESENTATIVE, not an autocrat.
