“My dad was the first generation. When he passed, I took over as the second generation. Our daughter Caitlin O’Connor now is the third generation in the business. We want to keep that. We’re in the third-party logistical business – it’s not like we own barges or trucks or stevedoring equipment or ocean vessels or anything like that. We rely on our family and the people in our organization and our culture. That is what drives Celtic.”

Celtic supports a wide range of philanthropic causes. In 2024, it raised nearly $30,000 for the American Heart Association, and in 2025, it raised $22,000 for the Seamen’s Church Institute – “two causes that align deeply with our values and the communities we serve,” O’Connor says.
