Use: Lamar’s corporate headquarters is designed to highlight one aspect: space. And it’s got plenty of it. Hidden behind a neutral-tone exterior, the interior of the building, which Lamar renovated and occupied in 2010, features a vibrant cornucopia of glass and metal, and its wide-open spaces are intended to foster creativity at the advertising giant through constant employee connectivity. The interior design scored an American Institute of Architects Institute Honor Award for Interior Architecture in 2013.

Form Follows Function: “We are a media company, and we sell creative ideas to clients. Our surroundings needed to be stimulating and inspiring. Similarly, the design and construction of our new facility had to be progressive, exploring innovative, flexible solutions and trends throughout the entire process. Particular consideration was given to the selection of materials, finishes, and construction methods to minimize environmental impact.”
-Jessica Morein, corporate real estate manager at Lamar Advertising Co.
