After being placed on the market late last year, the 7,800-square-foot building housing The Rug Place on Siegen has sold.Â
In a deal filed yesterday, Docbox LLC, represented by Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers treasurer and local CPA Robert Daigrepont Jr., bought the half-acre property for $1.1 million. The building had been on the market for nearly $1.3 million.Â
The seller is listed as Yvonne Kelleher, with The Rug Place LLC.Â
The business’s last day of operation was originally expected to be in late spring or early summer, depending on when Kelleher could sell off the remaining inventory, she previously told Daily Report, but those plans were before the pandemic.Â
It now plans to close Oct. 31, according to the business’s Facebook.Â
