Two tracts that make up a total of just under 2 acres of undeveloped land near the corner of Siegen Lane and Industriplex Boulevard have sold for $1.02 million to Wilde & Wen Properties LLC, managed by Sean Wendell. The property will be developed with a built-to-suit project for an indoor trampoline park. Wilde & Wen bought the property from MidSouth Bank, which has a location adjacent to the vacant land. Active BR, the local franchise partner of trampoline park company Sky Zone, is managed by Wendell and Peter Busenlener. Busenlener says the indoor park will be nearly 30,000 square feet and will be the second of three planned locations in south Louisiana. Busenlener says construction will begin immediately, with hopes to open by the spring. “We’re local Baton Rouge people. We’re looking forward to bringing this to the community,” Busenlener says. Another indoor trampoline park, Area 51, is planned for The Grove development adjacent to the Mall of Louisiana. —Kelly Connelly
