Five players who led LSU to the 1981 Final Four, and two players who led the Tigers to the 1986 Final Four will participate in the alumni basketball game Saturday as part of the program’s 100-year celebration. Players from the 1981 Final Four team include Ethan Martin, Howard Carter, Rudy Macklin, Tyrone Black and John Tudor. Ricky Blanton and Nikita Wilson, members of the 1986 Final Four team, also will participate. The game also will feature 12 players who were selected in the NBA Draft, including first-round picks Stanley Roberts, Howard Carter and Geert Hammink. The contest will include players from every decade dating to the 1950s. The free game tips off at 12:30 p.m. and will feature four 8-minute quarters. The celebration culminates with the Arkansas-LSU game at 4 p.m. and the announcement of the all-century team at halftime.
