Focused on women: Femme Executive Health, founded by Dr. Kate Freeman of Baton Rouge, has opened as a medical practice focused on women’s preventive and primary care. It offers executive health evaluations and concierge care, including cardiovascular, metabolic, bone health, cancer screening and menopause-related care. The practice works alongside patients’ existing physicians and specialists.

Rewind and rummage: Totally Rad Vintage Fest will bring an ’80s, ’90s and Y2K-themed vintage market to Baton Rouge’s Raising Cane’s River Center on Saturday, Aug. 29, featuring clothing, accessories, records, toys, video games and other collectibles. The Minneapolis-based festival travels to more than 40 cities and will feature local Louisiana vendors alongside sellers from across the country.
