Ralph Sellers, who owns a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep dealership as well as a Hyundai dealership in Gonzales, has bought the Brian Harris Chevrolet dealership and has changed its name to Ralph Sellers Chevrolet.

Ralph Sellers bought the property, located on Florida Boulevard near Central Throughway and O’Neal Lane, through Sellers 3 Properties LLC on Friday for $4.7 million, according to sales documents. The property was sold by Mildred Randon Harris through Brian Harris Realty II LLC.

“We feel the Ralph Sellers brand is strong in Ascension Parish and this was an opportunity to expand the Chevrolet brand in the Baton Rouge market,” says Max Sellers, the dealer for the new property and Ralph Sellers’ son.

The 13-acre property’s proximity to Central and Denham Springs made it appealing as a business opportunity, and they retained all the dealership’s employees in the transition, Max Sellers says.
