Putting on the blitz: Over the coming month you’re going to see and hear a lot of advertisements about Baton Rouge’s traffic “crisis,” and they’re going to urge you to press candidates running for seats in this fall’s elections to make finding serious solutions a top priority. The Baton Rouge Area Chamber has kicked off the month-long media blitz, during which it says ads will appear on radio, TV, in print and online, as well as on billboards in the runup to the Oct. 24 elections. Earlier this year, BRAC was among the groups and businesses that formed the Capital Region Industry for Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions, or CRISIS, which is also focused on keeping traffic and infrastructure issues on the front burner during this election cycle. Check out BRAC’s new TV spot, and get more details on the media campaign.
