NAI/Latter & Blum Inc., Donnie Jarreau Real Estate finalize merger

The merger of NAI/Latter & Blum Inc., the commercial real estate arm of New Orleans-based Latter & Blum Inc., and Baton Rouge-based Donnie Jarreau Real Estate has been finalized, the companies announced today in a news release.

Moving forward, the commercial agents will operate as NAI/Latter & Blum-Donnie Jarreau. Terms of the deal still have not been disclosed.

In a prepared statement, broker Donnie Jarreau says joining NAI/Latter & Blum provides access to a regional and global commercial network to serve his clients’ needs more effectively.

Richard Haase, Latter & Blum Inc. president, says the merger of the two companies is line with Latter & Blum’s growth strategy.

“We continue to affiliate with the strongest companies in the business sectors in which we operate, Donnie and his company of commercial agents are very accomplished professionals, and it’s a great fit for both organizations,” Haase says. “The timing for us couldn’t be better as Baton Rouge continues to be one of our strongest regions of operation.”

Daily Report originally reported the merger last month. The residential real estate division of Donnie Jarreau was not included in the deal and will operate under a separate name.

NAI/Latter & Blum has offices in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Alexandria, Lake Charles and New Orleans. Karl Landreneau, NAI Latter & Blum director, says the deal is a reunion of sorts between Jarreau and Latter & Blum.

“Donnie Jarreau’s commercial team and our agents have worked together for years. In fact, Donnie started his career at Latter & Blum, so it’s a great reunion for both of us,” Landreneau says in a statement. “Combining our commercial resources and expertise with NAI’s global network of commercial offices will greatly benefit our clients.”
