Casey Sessums has joined American Gateway Bank as manager and bank officer at its downtown location. Sessums, who has more than four years’ banking experience, previously served as a financial representative with Hancock Bank.
Kelvin Rousseve has been promoted to vice president, controller of Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank. Rousseve is responsible for managing the company’s accounting system and staff. He has been with Fidelity Homestead since 2008, and has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry.
Rex Kern has been named director of the Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary. Kern is a graduate of the Department of Veterans Affairs’ national cemetery director intern program in Washington, D.C., and has spent the past year at VA’s National Cemetery Administration National Training Center in St. Louis, a specific program that teaches employees to manage cemeteries as national shrines for America’s deceased veterans and military personnel.
Pam Shaver has been hired as executive director for the Louisiana Emergency Response Network. Shaver has more than 16 years’ experience and most recently served as director of Celgene Cellular Therapeutics. In her new role, she is responsible for overseeing and coordinating LERN’s operations.
Bart Gomez has joined North Oaks Health System as environmental services director. Gomez has nearly 30 years’ experience in housekeeping, laundry, linen, facilities, safety, security and biomedical services in health care settings and most recently served in the same capacity for Touro Infirmary in New Orleans. In his new role, he will focus on the cleanliness of North Oaks facilities.
Lydia D. Lewis has been named chief of staff at Lane Regional Medical Center. Lewis has served on Lane’s medical staff since 2004. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kaiser Permanente Foundation Hospital in Oakland, Calif.
Jon D. Perenack has been named medical and surgical director at the Williamson Cosmetic Center. Perenack is currently the director of residency training at the LSU Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His practice focuses on facial cosmetic surgery.
Kathy Viator has been named hospital administrator for Earl K. Long Medical Center. Viator served as the chief operating officer and associate hospital administrator of EKLMC from 2005-2007. She has 30 years of experience in hospital management and health care.
J. Matthew Robinson has been hired as a property and casualty producer for Wright & Percy Insurance. Robinson will be responsible for the management and production of new property and casualty business throughout the state. He has nearly 15 years’ experience and previously served as a property and casualty practice leader for CBIZ Benefits and Insurance Services of Chicago.
Sarah Hardy has been hired as supervisor of accounting consulting services of LaPorte Sehrt Romig Hand. Hardy previously worked for a local and national accounting firm. Her experience ranges from internal and external audit services for retail, manufacturing, nonprofit, oil and gas and gaming clients.
Michael K. Leachman has joined Jones Walker as an associate in the firm’s Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group’s Intellectual Property section. Leachman has three years’ experience as an associate at Cook, Yancey, King & Galloway APLC in Shreveport.
Amy Mandart McGimsey has been named chief operating officer of Postlethwaite & Netterville. McGimsey will be responsible for the implementation of strategic goals for the firm as well as operational responsibilities including marketing, human resources and administration. She has more than 20 years of administrative experience, serving companies such as ICF International and Aegis Lending Corporation.
Frankie Robertson has been named state director of March of Dimes. Robertson has served the public sector for more than eight years, previously working with the Southern University Center for Social Research and a local nonprofit.
Tony Martinez has been named associate state director of programs for the Louisiana Small Business Development Center state office. For the past 11 years, Martinez served as the Center Director of the LSBDC Technology Center at LSU.

David Coner has been promoted to studio manager for Digital FX. Coner, who joined Digital FX in 2003 as a tape room manager, will oversee the operations of the post-production studio.
