Lanaux & Felger, a Houma-based tax, accounting and business consulting firm, announced today plans to merge with Metairie-based LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors. Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to close on Dec. 1, were not disclosed.
Once the merger is complete, LaPorte will have over 180 employees and revenues in excess of $28 million. LaPorte has an office in Baton Rouge at Perkins Rowe, as well as others in Houma, Metairie, Covington and Houston. The Houma offices of the firms will be consolidated into a single LaPorte office once the deal is complete.
LaPorte serves clients in the construction, energy, financial services, healthcare, hospitality and entertainment and nonprofit sectors. Lanaux & Felger principals Thomas Lanaux and Mark Felger will assume key leadership roles as directors at LaPorte once the merger is complete.
