The property DSLD Homes acquired from Nguyen is about 20 acres. Nguyen purchased the land—about three tracts—in 2015 for for $1.6 million with DSLD in mind.

The lots, he says, are ready for homes to be built.

“It’s a great location for that type of home that DSLD has planned,” Nguyen says. “I think it will go great in that area.”

He points to nearby Woman’s Hospital and other developments going up in the area as reasons why the location is attractive. Also, the property did not flood in August.

“The land is high and dry. That’s very important,” he says.
