An Alabama-based fast casual chain called Chicken Salad Chick is expanding into Denham Springs, the company announced today, giving the restaurant five locations in Louisiana.
The restaurant will open Oct. 4 in Juban Crossing. Franchisee Beau Nicolosi opened the chain’s first Louisiana restaurant last year in Lafayette.
Chicken Salad Chick first opened in Auburn, Alabama, in 2008. The concept offers several types of chicken salad sandwiches, soups and pimento cheeses.

One of the restaurant’s opening week promotions will offer one guest free chicken salad for a year, the company says in a news release. The restaurant has 70 locations across the southeast U.S.
