Who’s the fittest exec in the Capital Region? In the following profiles, Business Report answers this burning question.
The Capital Region’s fittest execs are an elite group of people who push themselves as hard in the gym as they do in the boardroom. They display agility in maneuvering through complex deals as well as athletic endeavors.
Seriously, with health-care costs increasing, promoting healthy lifestyles among businesses has become more essential than ever, affecting your bottom as well as your bottom line. So who better to set the example for health and wellness than the leaders of their respective companies?
With that in mind, Business Report partnered with Bally Total Fitness Baton Rouge to put business executives to the test in the third Fittest Execs competition. The goal was to identify those executives who are most physically fit and to encourage others to follow their lead.
This year, 40 qualified Capital Region executives competed in a series of six tests. They were ranked on the basis of their scores. A list of the top 20 Fittest Execs and methodology can be found here (PDF).
The competition was open to executives (C-level, president, vice president, owner, partner, executive director or retired executives) and mid-level managers.
Congratulations to the Capital Region’s Fittest Execs. You set the pace, and you set a great example.
