I definately agree with the new Governor. All State and Local officials need to disclose their salaries. I believe that it is the right of the citizens (taxpayers) to know where their hard earned money is going. I particularly have an interest in knowing what the school officials are getting paid. Afterall, this is the first state in which I have enrolled my children in "Public School" and I have to pay!!! I've always known public schools to be free of any charge. The government has certain requirements which you have to have in order to obtain a High School Diploma. The government gives the state money for education. While in some cases it may not be or seem to be enough, how do you charge fees for classes like English, Math, Science, Social Studies, etc. when these are required for graduation (diploma). I can understand maybe a small fee for Art (special supplies) or even Science Lab, but most certainly I believe this is highway robbery. We need to know how much money these "School Officials" are making and if there's not enough money to pay for theses required courses, then maybe they need to take a pay cut. The People of Louisiana need to get going and stop "taking it" because they think they have to. YOU HAVE A VOICE USE IT!!!

I tend to agree. People need to think "Out of the Box". We live in the "now" but we have to plan for the future. Looking ahead both short and long term. Maybe in the very near future we won't have to pay for government required classes English, Math, Science and History in primary and secondary schools!
