Louisiana jury trial moratorium causing headache for Baton Rouge courts

While the Louisiana Supreme Court’s order, issued Monday, imposing a moratorium on all civil and criminal jury trials until March 1 is a necessary public health measure in the middle of a raging pandemic, it’s causing a headache for East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore, among others.
