Hogstrom planning $3M renovation of Goodwood Plantation
Developers of the upscale Adelia at Goodwood neighborhood are planning a roughly $3 million renovation and possible outdoor pavilion for the Goodwood Plantation and two lots surrounding it.
Onsite Development owner Mike Hogstrom, the lead developer of the gated community, says the company bought two lots next to the antebellum home and architects are working on plans to renovate the building and possibly build a structure next to it for residents. Work will likely begin by December on the exterior of the plantation.
Hogstrom’s company plans to move its offices to the second floor of the 1850s-era home and leave the first floor open to events. The group plans to spend roughly $1.5 million on both the historic plantation home and the area surrounding it, though plans for what will go next to it are not final.
