Area hospitals in spotlight for efforts to reduce maternal mortality

The four hospitals that deliver babies in Baton Rouge were among 16 statewide to attain a new designation from the Louisiana Department of Health that recognizes facilities committed to improving quality and outcomes for those giving birth.
