Below are some great places to get a Thanksgiving turkey around the Capital City.
- BRQ Seafood & Barbeque: offering a catering menu for the holiday complete with a whole, smoked free-range turkey
Frank’s Restaurant: a multitude of turkeys to choose from, including the classic baked turkey, a fried turkey, or even a pecan-smoked turkey.
Bergeron’s City Market: whole roasted turkey stuffed with onions, carrots and celery, a roasted turkey carved and sliced by the pound, and a Cajun deep-fried boneless turkey are on the menu this year.
Maxwell’s Market: serving up whole roasted turkeys as well as roasted turkey breast at their three restaurants and delis.
