Plan for large-scale redevelopment on Government Street clears hurdle

A plan to redevelop a portion of Government Street in Mid City to include a gourmet wine shop and epicurean market, a bar and commissary with outdoor seating, and an Aveda barbershop concept cleared a key hurdle Monday, when the Planning Commission approved a rezoning request to allow for alcohol sales at the site.
