Tina Holland stepping down in 2025 as president and CEO of FranU

    Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University on Monday announced the retirement of Tina Holland, the university’s president and CEO.

    Holland, who is FranU’s fourth president and CEO, will exit her role in the summer of 2025 after 11 years on the job. The university’s board of trustees will soon begin a national search for her replacement.

    Under Holland’s leadership, FranU developed enrollment management strategies that allowed the university to compete in a shrinking market, improved its fundraising capabilities and results and achieved record-high academic outcomes, according to a statement from FranU.

    “FranU is a treasure to the community, and a gift to all of us who are blessed to serve our mission to educate and form Franciscan servant leaders of all faiths,” Holland says. “I’m grateful for the privilege to serve and lead this beautiful educational ministry for 11 years.”

    Founded in 1923, FranU is a Catholic, not-for-profit university with an emphasis on health care. About 1,400 students are currently enrolled at FranU.
