When’s the right time to start teaching kids the importance of spending, saving, and sharing money?

Pelican State Credit Union’s Nationally Certified Credit Counselors say it’s never too early to start teaching kids about money. And to help you start now, Pelican’s put together tons of resources and activities to get your kids interested and informed.

Pelican participates in National Credit Union Youth Month each year by hosting hundreds of workshops for youth and adults across the state, and this year the credit union is taking their fun with finance efforts online!

Parents can visit pelicanstatecu.com/TeamPelican for fun information and ideas for youth financial education. The credit union is also hosting a digital event on Facebook for parents to join for information about drawing contests, coloring and activity sheets, story time videos, and more.

If you would like to learn more about National Credit Union Youth Month or have a Nationally Certified Credit Counselor present to your classroom virtually, they are available at no cost for remote presentations, question and answer segments, and more. Contact financialoutreach@pelicanstatecu.com or click here to submit a request online.
