The seventh and final building in the 6700 Jefferson Office Park development has sold for $2.9 million in a deal that closed today.
M2O2 LLC, represented by Michael Olinde and Don Massad, purchased the 15,000-square-foot office building from developer Don Joffrion, according to sales documents. The two-story building is located on Jefferson Highway, near Towne Center and the City Farm office park.
The buyers will be the owners and operators of the property, working out of three-quarters of the building, says Scot Guidry of Derbes Falgoust Commercial Real Estate, who represented the buyers. The remaining space is available for lease.
Olinde and Massad own a benefits consulting firm in Baton Rouge, providing insurance and investment services throughout the Gulf Coast area. Elifin Realty President and CEO Mathew Laborde represented the seller.
Joffrion began developing the entire 75,000-square-foot office park in early 2015. Since then, announced tenants and owners include SGS Petroleum Service, three law firms, home health company Hospice Compassus, engineering firm Grimball Holdings and investment firm PVS Investments.
