Ochsner is expanding its medical complex at The Grove to include a $6.8 million pediatric clinic.
On Jan. 6, the hospital will begin transforming nearly its entire fifth floor into a child-focused “super-clinic.” Construction is expected to wrap in fall 2021.
Altogether, the space will comprise some 18,500 square feet, with a dedicated pediatric waiting room of nearly 3,000 square feet. The $6.8 million investment also includes more than $700,000 in pediatric-specific medical equipment.
Hospital officials are expected to announce more details about the project during a groundbreaking event Tuesday at 11 a.m. The groundbreaking will take place at Ochsner’s complex on The Grove Boulevard.
