The LSU Flores MBA Program is launching a one-year MBA track geared toward students who hold an undergraduate business degree.
Beginning in June, the new MBA option will allow students to complete the degree requirements in just 11 months.
With a strong emergence nationwide of specialized one-year graduate programs, LSU Flores MBA Program Director Dana Hart says he sees the one-year MBA track as an opportunity to grow LSU’s program.
“With a flexible and streamlined core curriculum, undergraduate business majors can fast-track their MBA experience and accelerate their career trajectory in just one year,” Hart says.
However, the one-year MBA students won’t receive the typical summer internship experience that most full-time MBA students get.
Since one-year MBA students already have a business degree, most of the core curriculum in this track is waived allowing courses to focus on students’ specific interests and career paths. Read the full announcement.
