LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier has landed a partnership with Powerade, Sports Illustrated reports.

Before the 2024 college football season, Powerade signed NIL deals with Nussmeier as well as Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, USC wide receiver Zachariah Branch, Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson and Florida State defensive end Patrick Payton.

The five players will be featured in a national marketing campaign for the Coca-Cola-owned brand this fall called “Commitment Takes More.”

Powerade has added 35 athletes to its brand with NIL deals as the 2024-25 school year begins. It is the official hydration partner for 23 universities in the U.S.

As he prepares for his first season as the starting signal-caller for LSU Tigers, Nussmeier’s NIL portfolio continues to grow, including a deal with Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys last year.
