Who’s the clinician other clinicians look up to? Nominate them.

They’re the ones in the exam room, in the operating suite, at the bedside—the clinicians whose skill, judgment and commitment to their patients define what good health care actually looks like.

The Outstanding Practitioner category in Business Report’s inaugural Excellence in Health Care Awards recognizes the clinicians who have elevated care across the Capital Region through expertise, consistency and a patient-centered approach. These are the practitioners other clinicians look to, the ones whose standards shape their teams and whose work—day in and day out—makes a measurable difference in outcomes. In a region where health care is a defining force in quality of life, their contributions deserve a spotlight.

The Excellence in Health Care Awards will honor leaders across seven categories: Outstanding Health Care Executive, Emerging Health Care Leader, Outstanding Practitioner, Outstanding Health Organization, Achievement in Innovation, Lifetime Achievement and Community Impact.

Nominations are open to individuals and organizations making a measurable impact within the Capital Region’s health care ecosystem, including hospitals and clinics, private practices, research institutions, public health agencies and community-based initiatives. An independent selection panel of respected health care professionals will evaluate all nominations.

Finalists and honorees will be featured in the August edition of Business Report and recognized at a formal dinner and awards ceremony on Aug. 12 at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge.

Nominations are open through April 17. Learn more and submit a nomination here.
