- Rocca Pizzeria: The upscale Mid City pizzeria that serves Italian classics with a modern twist is located on Government St. and opened in January.
- Cecelia Creole Bistro: The romantic downtown spot for Creole cuisine opened on Third Street in April.
- Francois Cafe & Grill: This Bluebonnet Boulevard restaurant with a lengthy menu and New Orleans flair opened in May.
- Marcello’s Restaurant & Wine Bar: This Italian restaurant in Southdowns features a rustic wine bar and opened at 4205 Perkins Road in May.
