Accounting

Dan Gardiner was named consulting manager at Postlethwaite & Netterville. Gardiner will manage projects from inception to completion, leading clients through the process and identifying technology solutions to meet short-term and long-term needs.

Mark Staley was named consulting manager at Postlethwaite & Netterville. Staley has more than 10 years of progressive IT experience. He will guide clients through the implementation, enhancement and support of enterprise applications, custom-developed applications, data interfacing and business reporting.

Communications and Media

Andrée Francois Talbert was named director of human resources at EATEL. Talbert joined the company in September 2003 and previously served as the compensation and benefits specialist. Before joining EATEL, she practiced law with the Baton Rouge firm of Simoneaux, Carleton, Dunlap and Olinde, focusing on civil and insurance defense including employment law litigation.

Kharol Dillon was named dispatch manager for Cox Greater Louisiana. Dillon joined Cox from Cox Orange County in California, where she served for 10 years, most recently as communications center supervisor. She is responsible for field service operations in the 13-parish service area.

Jimmy Frederick was named local programming manager for Cox Greater Louisiana. Frederick worked for the past six years as consultant to Cox and its local origination channel, Cox 4. He is responsible for managing and cultivating local programming for Cox in its service area.

Eric Coleman was named local production manager for Cox Greater Louisiana. Coleman has worked for Cox Media since 2004 as programming and production manager for commercial advertising. He is responsible for managing locally produced programs for Cox 4 and Cox 20.

Education

Robert E. Lancaster was named director of the LSU Law Center’s Clinical Legal Education Program and professor of professional practice. Lancaster previously served as clinical professor of law at Indiana University School of Law. The clinical program will offer students the opportunity to represent live clients in dealing with actual court cases and legal problems.

Robert Bell was named Louisiana Community and Technical College Systems’ vice president for academic and student affairs. Bell has served as a faculty member and administrator in higher education for more than 20 years, most recently as the vice president/chief administrative office at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

Finance and Insurance

Ben Lemann was named area president of Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, the retail property/casualty brokerage division of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.’s Baton Rouge and Lake Charles offices. Lemann joined the company in 1999 as regional controller and operations manager for the Baton Rouge office.

Will Graham joined Arthur J. Gallagher to fill the position of regional controller. Graham previously worked as an oil and gas analyst in the investment banking industry.

Steve Webb was named chief operations officer of Neighbors Federal Credit Union. Webb joined Neighbors in 1990, most recently serving as senior vice president of Lending. He earned the Certified Credit Union Executive designation and is past president of the Baton Rouge Credit Union Managers Association.

Edward Vollenweider joined Neighbors Federal Credit Union as business services manager. Vollenweider previously served as vice president of Greater New Orleans Federal Credit Union in Metairie. He is an honor graduate of Western CUNA Management School and a 2004 graduate of NAFCU [MDI] Management Development Institute.

David K. Thompson was named senior vice president, commercial relationship manager and team leader for IberiaBank. Thompson has more than 20 years’ experience. He previously served as manager of commercial and industrial banking with Regions Bank in Baton Rouge.

J. Tracy Rutledge was named commercial relationship manager at IberiaBank. Rutledge joins IberiaBank with many years of professional experience in the investment and banking industry. Most recently, he served as commercial relationship manager for Regions Bank in Baton Rouge. He is located at the Baton Rouge headquarters on Essen Lane.

Brent Leigh was named partner at SRS Wealth Management, a financial planning company specializing in serving the needs of retired Bell South/AT&T employees. Leigh has been with SRS for two years. He previously worked for more than 12 years in banking in Cincinnati.

Industry

Steve Gunter joined Professional Service Industries as the manager of geotechnical services department in the Baton Rouge operations office.

Law

Brad Price was named partner of the law firm Jordan and Price, which changed its name from Jordan and Broadwater. Price has extensive experience in workers’ compensation defense, Longshore Harbor workers’ compensation cases and insurance defense. He has been practicing law with Jordan and Broadwater for three years.

Nonprofit

Michele Robinson joined Capital Area United Way as the senior vice president of community development and strategies. Robinson previously served as vice president of community impact.

Robin Keller joined Capital Area United Way as senior vice president of marketing and operation. Keller previously served as public relations manager and administrator for DEMCO.

Retail

Al McClendon was named sales manager of the Lofton Staffing Services’ Baton Rouge location. McClendon has more than 14 years of management and sales experience, with the past 10 years serving as branch manager and vice president and divisional sales manager for Wells Fargo Financial.

Technology

Genevieve Silverman joined the senior management team at the Louisiana Technology Park as director of finance. Silverman previously served as senior associate with Dean Capital, a venture capital and debt investments firm. She brings more than 10 years of experience with commercial debt and venture capital equity investments, including business development, due diligence, credit analysis, financial projections, portfolio management, and loan closings.
