Architecture and Design
Bryon Hume, Darrin Badon and Daniel M. Zito were named partners with Tipton Associates. In 12 years with the company, Hume has served as project manager, information technology coordinator and quality control leader. Badon served as senior designer and project architect in 10 years with the company. Zito relocated from New York to become senior studio leader.
Community
Brandon Smith was named community affairs liaison for LSU’s Office of Academic Affairs’ Equity, Diversity & Community Outreach. Smith will oversee the Community University Partnership in the historic South Baton Rouge neighborhood. He will work with nonprofit organizations, interfaith communities and other partners to extend the university’s outreach efforts across the community. Smith previously served as an educator in the East Baton Rouge Parish school system through Teach for America.
Financial and Insurance
Bob Drelick was named vice president of IT Applications, and Terry Landry was promoted to director of Internal Audit at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana. Drelick previously served as director of corporate division and chief technology officer at subsidiary US Bioservices. Landry previously served as manager of quality assurance and practice development. He also is a certified information systems auditor and a certified computing professional.
Randall J. Rinaudo was named assistant vice president in the retail division of IberiaBank’s Baton Rouge market. Rinaudo previously served as a relationship banker with JPMorgan Chase. In his new position, he will provide backup support for managers and platform and assist as a lender with both consumer and business banking areas.
Health care
Mary Ella Sanders joined the Southeast Louisiana Radiation Oncology Group at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. Sanders graduated from LSU and received her medical doctorate from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. She previously served in both clinical and administrative roles at the LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans and Shreveport.
Charles G. Wood joined the Southeast Louisiana Radiation Oncology Group at the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. Wood received his medical doctorate from LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Shreveport, where he was valedictorian. Wood previously served as chief resident of the department of radiation oncology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Leslie Norman was named vice president of patient care services of St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. She previously served as the assistant vice president of critical care and quality/risk and coordinated the recent re-accreditation survey by the Joint Commission. Norman also previously worked for Tulane University Hospital and Clinic as the director of ambulatory care nursing.
Industry
Tommy McBeth was named manager of the coating division of Basic Industries Inc., and operating company of industrial services provider The Brock Group. McBeth will oversee coatings operations in Louisiana and the eastern U.S. He has 36 years’ experience in industrial coatings and facility management.
Retail and Local Business
Eric Brandt was named executive chef at the City Club. Brandt graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York before returning to his family’s business, Chalet Brandt, as chef and, eventually, owner. He comes to the City Club after two years as executive chef for Casino Rouge, now Hollywood Casino.
Regan Ledet was named banquet sales manager for Galatoire’s Bistro. Previously, she was a specialist at Frontier Title Company as a marketing assistant and pre- and post-closing specialist. Recently, Ledet worked with Chef Brian Landry and Justin Galatoire Frey to develop the “Galatoire’s to Geaux” catering menu. In her current position, she will be customizing events from business meetings to rehearsal dinners.
Katelyn Benton joined PreSonus Audio Electronics as marketing communications associate. Benton is a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston with her bachelor’s in professional music. She will serve as a link between PreSonus and its media outlets.
Rod Mills joined LSU Press as sales manager. Previously, Mills served as director of the Louisiana Center for the Book, and he is the founding director of the Louisiana Book Festival.
Real Estate
Denise Scelfo was named director of business development for Latter & Blum Property Management Inc. She will direct the company’s statewide business development and special projects effort from the firm’s Baton Rouge office.
