Legacy Business Spotlight: Simpson Sports Engineering

— ESTABLISHED 2017

Simpson Sports Engineering is a Baton Rouge-based civil engineering firm specializing in sports facility design and construction. Owner Jesse Simpson has built the company on a foundation of consistency, generosity and community investment.

BUILT ON BATON ROUGE, INVESTED IN ITS FUTURE

“Baton Rouge is a great place for families, and the culture is tough to beat. Investing in the infrastructure throughout the city has been incredibly rewarding, and we look forward to seeing more facilities built that allow others to experience all we have to offer.”

SHOWING UP IS HALF THE BATTLE

“Stay the course. Being consistent with communication and effort has been key for us. The conversations and the jobs aren’t always exactly how we’d like them to be, but showing up with consistency has continued to be an integral part of our business growth.”

A LASTING COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY

“We are actively involved in First Tuesday, an organization that supports about a dozen nonprofits throughout Baton Rouge. Our office takes the day off each month to volunteer at one of those organizations, and it is one of my favorite things we do as a company.”

ONGOING PROJECTS ACROSS LOUISIANA

“We are currently underway on a 20-field turf conversion project in Minden, where the excitement around sports tourism has been incredible. We also recently completed a 100-yard indoor football pavilion for West Monroe High School. Structures like these are becoming more common and more necessary, given the attention on heat-related illnesses in high school athletics.”

OUR LEGACY: Creating infrastructure that gives athletes and communities a place to thrive.
