More than 200 acres of land near the East Baton Rouge and East Feliciana parishes border changed hands in a deal filed Friday afternoon with the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court.
Waterloo Timber Holdings, whose officers are listed as Joshua Allen Guillory, of St. Francisville, and Mark David, of Ventress, bought some 212 acres along the border of East Baton Rouge and East Feliciana parishes near Greenwell Springs Road.
Guillory is a Capital Region-area homebuilder, according to the Home Builders Association.
The pair bought the land for $825,000 with a loan from the Louisiana Land Bank, according to public records. The bank is part of the nationwide Farm Credit System.
The seller is listed as AA Abstracts LLC, whose officers are Robert and Heidi Ligon, and Carter Strain.
