Baton Rouge resident Thomas Ngo is planning to open a new Asian-American fusion restaurant on Millerville Road, near the Old Hammond Highway intersection.
The restaurant, Pho T, will feature American twists to traditional Asian dishes, says Ngo, who previously operated restaurants in Massachusetts.
Pho T will be located in a 7,000-square-foot, two-tenant building and will take up around 5,000 of those square feet. He plans to lease the remaining space.
If Ngo’s request for the property to be rezoned for restaurant use is approved by the Planning Commission Tuesday afternoon, the restaurateur hopes to begin construction by the end of the year, with the restaurant opening early next year.
